MILKED & PINT Magazine

Containing an intentionally curated body of work, conceptually driven, and visually focused, MILKED is a new publication that focuses on the undertones of the maternal figure.

Styled like a newspaper, and published like a book, this 8.5” x 14” publication features visual art, photography and written word by international, female artists. MILKED is an independent project, initiated & curated by Lee Nowell-Wilson and designed by Darin Michelle. Both artist. Both mothers.

Along came PINT

Our digital digest and production of MILKED magazine. Still created by Lee Nowell-Wilson and Darin Michelle Gilliam, PINT maintains the vision of bringing motherhood to the foreground of contemporary culture; to be an investigation and exposure of what has long lived behind the scenes within art history.

One key difference: While MILKED remains visually focused, allowing the work of the 12 female artists of each issue to speak loudly for itself, PINT brings verbal elements back to the table. Including reviews, written articles and project statements, PINT dives deep into the art series of just 2 artists per issue.
